Getting started with Neoship

Welcome to Neoship — a step-by-step guide

This guide takes you from registration all the way to sending your first shipment. The steps match exactly the „Vitajte v Neoshipe“ (Welcome to Neoship) wizard that appears on your home screen after you log in.

Welcome to Neoship — a step-by-step guide

After you log in for the first time, the Domov (Home) screen greets you with a wizard at 0 / 6 progress. It guides you through the following six steps, and you can check how far you have got at any time in the left-hand menu. Steps marked „nepovinné“ (optional) can be skipped.

0. Registration and login

Before the wizard starts, create your account. The application language can be switched at the bottom (Slovenčina / Čeština / English).

  1. 1Open aplikacia.neoship.sk/neoship/register/ and enter your E-mailová adresa (e-mail address).
  2. 2In the Heslo field enter a password (at least 8 characters, not digits only and not a common password) and repeat it in the Potvrdenie hesla field.
  3. 3Tick Súhlasím so Všeobecnými obchodnými podmienkami (I agree to the Terms and Conditions) and click Zaregistrujte sa teraz.
  4. 4When the verification e-mail arrives, confirm it and then log in through the Už máte účet? Prihláste sa link.

1. Add your sender address and delivery countries

Where you ship from and where you ship to.

  1. 1In the wizard click Pridať adresu (or open the Adresy menu) and add your sender address (name/company, street, number, postcode, town, e-mail, phone). This address is then pre-filled automatically for every shipment.
  2. 2In the wizard, select your delivery countries straight away — the countries you want to deliver your shipments to. They then appear in the Krajina selector when creating a shipment, in the address book and in the price lists.
  3. 3You can find and manage all countries at any time in Môj profil → Krajiny pre zásielky.
  4. 4In Môj profil also fill in Názov eshopu and Notifikačné e-maily, add your IBAN in the IBANy section (needed for cash-on-delivery payouts) and check your billing details in the Faktúry tab.

2. Choose the right module for you

A plan based on your shipment volume.

  1. 1In the wizard click Vybrať modul and look through the Neoship modules.
  2. 2ŠTART / RAST / PROFI — you have your own contracts with the carriers and ship at your own prices.
  3. 3PRÉMIUM — Neoship arranges the transport: one contract, one invoice, favourable shipping prices.
  4. 4You can change your module later as your shipment volume develops.

3. Add carrier connections (optional)

This step is not mandatory. If you do not have your own contract with a carrier, skip it — in the PRÉMIUM module you ship under the Neoship contracts.

  1. 1In the wizard click Pripojiť prepravcu (or open the Konfigurácie → Prepravcovia menu).
  2. 2Choose a carrier (DPD, GLS, Packeta, SDS, Slovak Post, SPS) and click Pripojiť.
  3. 3Fill in the login/API details you received from the carrier (for DPD, for example: Delis ID, API meno, API heslo, ID adresy odosielateľa, ID bankového účtu). Every field has a „Kde to nájdem?“ (Where do I find this?) hint.
  4. 4Tick the default services and click Uložiť a pokračovať v úpravách. The status changes to „Pripojený“ (connected).

4. Connecting your e-shop (optional)

An optional step — you can also enter orders manually. Connecting your e-shop saves time, because the orders are downloaded automatically.

  1. 1In the wizard click Napojiť e-shop (or open the Konfigurácie → Konektory menu).
  2. 2Choose your platform: Shoptet, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopify or Money S5 → Pripojiť.
  3. 3Once connected, orders are downloaded automatically and you can create shipments straight from them (the Objednávky button).

5. Top up your credit

Neoship runs on prepaid credit — you top up money first and the prices of your shipments are then deducted from it. Without credit you cannot pay for a shipment.

  1. 1In the wizard click Dobiť kredit (or use the button at the bottom left).
  2. 2Bank transfer — no fee; an instant payment arrives within a few minutes, a standard transfer takes 1 – 3 days.
  3. 3Besteron (pay-by-bank button) — no fee from 100 € up (up to 99,99 € = 1,99 € incl. VAT); within a few minutes.
  4. 4Comgate (payment card) — 1 % of the payment; within a few minutes.
  5. 5For a bank transfer use the variable symbol from your profile (Môj profil). On the top-up page you can also enter a discount code / voucher.

6. Create your first shipment

The main event — this is what it has all been for.

  1. 1Click Vytvoriť zásielku (or Zásielky → Pridať zásielku).
  2. 2Choose the Dopravca (carrier) and the Typ zásielky (shipment type — Zásielka).
  3. 3Check the Adresa odosielateľa (pre-filled from step 1).
  4. 4Fill in the Adresa príjemcu — either Vybrať z adresára (pick from the address book) or manually. The mandatory fields are: Meno príjemcu, Ulica, PSČ, Mesto, Krajina, E-mail and Telefón. Firma príjemcu is optional.
  5. 5Shipment details: Referenčné číslo (the order number, for example), Počet balíkov, and if applicable Dobierka + currency, Hmotnosť (kg) and Typ balíka.
  6. 6Click Uložiť (or Uložiť a pridať ďalšie if you have several shipments).
  7. 7Finally print the shipping label, stick it on the parcel and hand it over to the carrier (if needed, create a pickup protocol in Zásielky → Protokoly).

Done — the „Vitajte v Neoshipe“ wizard is at 6/6! You can add further shipments in bulk through Import zásielok or directly from the orders of your connected e-shop.
